Back in Winter of 2019, I was watching YouTube videos on Dylusions paint. I thought the colors were fantastic! I wanted them; and I brought them. Called it an early X-mas present to myself.
Got the jars and I could not wait to use them.
Weeeelllll….
I found the paint a bit difficult to work with. Back to the YouTube videos. Saw how Dyan R. applied the paints with a baby wipe. Back to the craft table I went and did the same thing. Tried working/creating with the paints for the month of December. This product was not meant to be for me. I had a hard time trying to blend the colors, using a baby wipe to get the paint on paper, hmmm… didn’t care for that.
After getting frustrated, I left the jars in the drawer and there they stayed.
Back to the Present…
Need to do some cleaning and rearranging of the drawers and bins I have. Open the Dylusions drawer for the first time since December of 2019. Clumpy messes the paint were. No surprised; just that instead of being ‘smart’ about it of buying 1-3 jars, at the time I brought the whole collection.
I marvelled at the Creatives that can use the paints to create some truly awesome work. Just wasn’t for me. Over the past weekend, I packed the jars in a box and off to the trash bin it went. Got a free drawer to throw some stuff in now.
Oh well.
